CHARITIES & NOT FOR PROFIT
Films for Purpose-Led Organisations
Cinematic storytelling for charities, foundations, NGOs and cultural institutions working to create social, cultural and environmental impact. We help organisations communicate complexity, humanity and impact through film — with clarity, care and craft.
We work with purpose-led organisations to create films that go beyond messaging. Our focus is not just what organisations do, but why they exist and how their impact is felt — by people, communities and wider systems. We bring a cinematic, narrative-led approach to subjects that are often reduced to reporting or documentation.
What We Do
Impact & Campaign Films - Films that communicate missions, campaigns and initiatives with clarity and emotional depth.
Story-led Documentaries - Human-centred storytelling that explores lived experience, context and change over time.
Cultural & Institutional Films - Work that situates organisations within wider social, cultural and historical frameworks.
Partner & Community Projects - Collaborative films developed with stakeholders, communities and field partners.
Our Approach
Clarity without simplification - We work with complex subject matter and shape it into narratives that remain truthful, layered and accessible.
People at the centre - We prioritise lived experience over abstract messaging — grounding every film in real voices and perspectives.
Context matters - We situate every story within its wider system: social, cultural, environmental or institutional.
Long-term value - Our films are designed to live beyond campaigns — as ongoing tools for engagement, learning and advocacy.

Why Kullur?
Cinematic storytelling for meaningful work. We bring the same cinematic and contextual approach used across luxury, travel and culture into the purpose-led sector. This ensures that mission-driven work is not only understood — but felt, remembered and shared.
We don’t simplify complexity. We shape it into narrative form.
Impact & Campaign Films
Coin Street: Imagine
Brand: Coin Street / Agency: Kullur
Celebrating their 40th anniversary, Coin Street Community Builders wanted to demonstrate the lasting social impact they have on London's South Bank—not through statistics, but through the people whose lives they've helped shape.
We created a series of films supporting fundraising, recruitment and public awareness, using documentary storytelling to capture the community behind the organisation.
Frontline: Be The Difference: Recruitment Campaign
Brand: Frontline / Agency: Kullur
Working with Frontline, we created a recruitment campaign designed to encourage new applicants to join the organisation’s social work training programme.
The film presents frontline social work as a meaningful and transformative career, focusing on the real experiences, motivations and impact of those working within the system.
Rather than relying on traditional recruitment messaging, the campaign adopts a documentary-led approach, using real voices and environments to communicate the purpose and emotional reality of the role.
We directed, wrote and produced the campaign, shaping a narrative that balances clarity of message with a grounded, human perspective on social work.
Frontline: Frontline of Change: Recruitment Campaign
Brand: Frontline / Agency: Kullur
Following the initial phase of the campaign, we continued working with Frontline on a series of recruitment films filmed across Manchester and Wolverhampton.
The campaign documents participants at different stages of their journey into social work, focusing on the lived reality of training, placement and early practice across two UK cities.
Rather than relying on traditional recruitment messaging, the films adopt a documentary-led approach, capturing real environments, conversations and experiences to communicate the complexity and purpose of the role.
The work presents social work as both challenging and deeply human, emphasising the responsibility, resilience and impact involved in working directly with children and families.
We directed, wrote and produced the campaign, shaping a grounded visual language across both locations that reflects the intensity and authenticity of frontline social work training.
Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust: Bra-less
Brand: Frontline / Agency: Honest Ideas
Working with Addenbrooke’s Cancer Charity and Honest Ideas in Cambridge, we created a film exploring the lived experience of cancer through the voices of patients, carers and healthcare professionals connected to the Addenbrooke’s oncology community.
The work focuses on the emotional and human realities of cancer care, capturing personal testimony alongside the collaborative approach taken by the hospital and charity in supporting patients throughout diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
Rather than functioning as institutional messaging, the film adopts a documentary-led approach, presenting a grounded and intimate perspective on care, resilience and the relationships that form within the cancer journey.
Partner & Community Projects
Coin Street: Community Builders
Brand: Coin Street / Agency: Kullur
As part of a series of films for Coin Street Community Builders, we created a set of documentaries exploring the organisation’s role in shaping and sustaining the South Bank community in London.
The series focuses on the people, spaces and programmes that define Coin Street’s approach to community-led regeneration — from residential life and local enterprise to public spaces, cultural activity and creative work at sites including Oxo Tower Wharf. Rather than presenting the organisation as a traditional institutional case study, the films adopt an observational approach, capturing everyday activity and long-term community impact across one of London’s most established development trusts. The work reflects Coin Street’s broader mission to create a balanced neighbourhood where people can live, work, visit and participate in cultural and social life, foregrounding the relationships between residents, businesses and public spaces along the South Bank.
Story-led Documentaries
Moorfield’s Eye Hospital:
Brand: Moorfield’s Eye Hospital / Agency: Breakfast of Champions
Working with Moorfields Eye Hospital, we created a film exploring the hospital’s eye service and the specialist care provided to patients across diagnosis, treatment and ongoing clinical support.
The work focuses on the patient journey through the eye service, capturing the clinical environments, medical teams and processes that underpin one of Europe’s leading ophthalmic centres.
Rather than functioning as institutional communications, the film adopts a documentary-led approach, presenting the service through real interactions between clinicians and patients, and the precision, care and expertise involved in delivering sight-saving treatment.
Directed by Patrick Sisam, we shot the film, shaping an observational narrative that balances clinical clarity with a human perspective on eye care and treatment.
Shaw Foundation: Vitalait
Brand: Vitalait / Agency: Kullur
Working with the Shaw Foundation, we created a documentary film exploring the Vitalait programme in Tunisia, which supports local agricultural production and community-based economic development. The film follows the impact of the initiative on farmers, workers and local communities, capturing the relationship between economic opportunity, infrastructure and everyday life within emerging agricultural systems.
Rather than presenting the programme as institutional communication, the work adopts an observational approach, focusing on lived experience and the tangible effects of development-led initiatives on individuals and communities. The piece reflects the Shaw Foundation’s broader commitment to supporting sustainable development projects across emerging economies, where long-term investment in local production and skills training plays a central role in community resilience.
Directed by Patrick Sisam, the film was shaped as a grounded documentary portrait of social and economic change within a specific regional context.
Shaw Foundation: Swadhaar Micro Finance in India
Brand: Swadhaar / Agency: Kullur
Working with the Shaw Foundation, we created a documentary film exploring Swadhaar’s work in India supporting access to microfinance and financial inclusion for low-income communities.
The film follows individuals and small business owners engaging with Swadhaar’s lending programmes, capturing the role of microcredit in enabling entrepreneurship, stability and long-term economic agency at a community level.
Rather than presenting the initiative as institutional messaging, the work adopts an observational documentary approach, focusing on lived experience and the practical impact of financial access on everyday life and local enterprise. The piece reflects broader themes of economic empowerment and development-led change, where access to financial systems becomes a catalyst for personal and community transformation.
Directed by Patrick Sisam, the film is shaped as a grounded portrait of microfinance in practice, balancing individual stories with the wider social and economic context of the programme.
