FOOD & DRINK/ LUXURY HOSPITALITY
Cinematic storytelling for food, drink and luxury hospitality brands
We create documentary-led films for global food, drink and hospitality brands, working across commercials, branded content and editorial campaigns that explore craft, culture and experience. From Michelin-level kitchens to luxury hotels and international wine regions, our work focuses on the people, processes and environments that define how brands are experienced.
We collaborate with brands, publishers and creative agencies to create films that move beyond product storytelling. Our work explores food and hospitality as culture — capturing the craft, detail and atmosphere behind what people taste, experience and remember.
FOOD, DRINK & CRAFT
British Airways X Qatar: Try Before You Fly
Brand: British Airways & Visit Qatar / Agency: Cedar
British Airways and Visit Qatar wanted to inspire travellers by capturing the sights, flavours and creativity that make Doha unique. Rather than producing a traditional destination advert, the campaign invited audiences to experience the city through its food, design and culture—giving them a taste of the destination before they booked their flight.
Produced over four days on location in Doha, the four-part social campaign combined cinematic visuals with documentary-style storytelling to create an immersive, sensory portrait of the city. Working with Art Director Jamie MacPherson and producer Nadia Taybi, we directed, shot and completed the films through to edit and colour, delivering a series designed to spark curiosity and encourage travel.
Uzbekistan Art & Culture Development Foundation: When Apricots Blossom
Brand: Visit Uzbekistan / Agency: The Crosses
To promote Visit Uzbekistan’s pavilion at Salone di Milano 2026, the Uzbekistan Art & Culture Development Foundation commissioned a campaign celebrating the country’s living cultural heritage through the crafts of everyday life.
Rather than presenting Uzbekistan through a conventional tourism lens, the film focuses on the rituals and skills that shape its identity—from traditional bread makers to yurt builders—offering an intimate portrait of culture expressed through craft and community.
Directed by Gillian Dobias and produced with London-based agency The Crosses, we were responsible for editing the campaign, shaping documentary footage into a cohesive narrative that balances poetic visual storytelling with clarity of message for a global audience.
Samsung: Massimo Bottura
Brand: Samsung / Agency: Monocle
Samsung commissioned Monocle to create a series of films exploring the capabilities of the Galaxy S5 through the lens of world-renowned chef Massimo Bottura.
Filmed over four days in Modena, the project follows Bottura in his native city and at Osteria Francescana, his three-Michelin-star restaurant, capturing the relationship between place, memory and creativity that defines his approach to food.
Rather than focusing on product features, the films use Bottura’s world to demonstrate the camera’s ability to capture detail, atmosphere and spontaneity in real environments.
Directed by Gillian Dobias, we worked across production in Modena to help shape a cinematic portrait of one of the world’s most influential chefs and his creative environment.
Kenwood Wines
Brand: Kenwood Wines / Agency: TBWA (New York)
Kenwood Wines commissioned a series of four television commercials to capture the character of Sonoma and reinforce the brand’s connection to California’s wine country. Rather than focusing solely on product, the campaign explores the landscape, atmosphere and craft behind winemaking—positioning Kenwood within the natural rhythm and texture of Sonoma Valley. Directed by Patrick Sisam and shot in collaboration with lead creative Jonah Wyn Pugh, we worked as Director of Photography across the campaign, capturing cinematic imagery across multiple locations in Sonoma, California for a series of broadcast commercials.
Mandarin Oriental: Pastry Chef
Brand: Mandarin Oriental / Agency: Cedar
To celebrate the festive season at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, we created a social campaign centred around the hotel’s pastry kitchen, highlighting the craft, precision and artistry behind its seasonal creations.
Rather than focusing on traditional festive imagery, the film takes a character-led approach, following the pastry chef as they prepare intricate seasonal desserts within the hotel’s kitchens—revealing the quiet discipline and creativity behind luxury hospitality at its most detailed level.
Working with Art Director Kris Short and producer Gaelle Mourre, we directed, shot, edited and graded the campaign, shaping a series designed to capture texture, atmosphere and craftsmanship in equal measure.
CULTURE, PLACE & FOOD SYSTEMS
Krug Champagne: Hansen & Lydersen
Brand: Krug Champagne / Agency: Monocle
Krug Champagne commissioned a series of short films, Krug Lovers, celebrating individuals whose creativity, dedication and craft reflect the spirit of the brand.
Hansen & Lydersen forms part of this collection, profiling two creators whose collaborative approach and attention to detail echo Krug’s own philosophy of craftsmanship and precision.
Produced by Gillian Dobias in collaboration with Monocle and Winkreative, we directed, shot, edited and graded the film, crafting a cinematic portrait designed to sit within Krug’s wider editorial storytelling universe.
British Airways: Love Letter
Brand: British Airways / Agency: Cedar
To celebrate British Airways' centenary, the airline commissioned a series of films featuring remarkable people with personal connections to Britain.
Rather than producing traditional brand advertising, we created intimate portraits that celebrated creativity, craftsmanship and identity, allowing the airline's heritage to emerge naturally through human stories.
FOOD CONTENT AT SCALE
Tesco
Brand: Tesco / Agency: Cedar
Tesco commissioned us as an ongoing production partner for its Real Food platform, creating a continuous stream of recipe-led food content designed for digital audiences across the UK.
The work focuses on making food content that feels practical, visually engaging and accessible, while maintaining consistency across a large-scale editorial brand used by millions of home cooks.
Since 2021, we have developed and produced a wide range of recipe films and food storytelling content, helping shape the visual identity and production output of one of the UK’s most established supermarket food platforms.
